Unless you live in the southern United States, snow days are a constant problem.
Here in the northwest, we have a snow day today and it has caused havoc.
Compared to what most of you face in winter, we only need a few inches and the whole area comes to a halt.
Due to the infrequency of snowfalls in the west coast of Washington and Oregon, there is a limited number of snowplows and other machinery to handle snow.
So, a dump of snow and the whole place grinds to a halt

In addition, all schools are closed in the area and child care is impossible to find. Most parents of young children will need to stay home today.
Rather than lose a day of productivity, working remote keeps everything moving in your business.

Apparently, people are celebrating the morning commute by slamming into each other.
Why add to the commuter congestion by forcing your employees into the office when they could work just fine from home?
A company is not being socially conscious if they force their employees to work when they are not needed.
I just saw a notice that a Chick Fil A location is delayed their opening to keep the employees safe so they don’t take extra chances.
