New Year’s Resolutions are junk. It is a great idea that does not work out.
But, a new year gives us a chance to think about how we work and achieve our goals.
It also gives us a chance to find methods of being more effective (not necessarily efficient but that is a discussion for another day!).
We are living in an exciting time.
Technology has given us so many tools to help us with our work.
I was thinking today about the cell phone technology.
I remember what it was like to have to find a pay phone, waiting at home for a phone call, and the inefficiencies of not having a phone in my pocket all day.
We can save so much time with a mobile device not mention it is a powerful computer in a form factor smaller than a deck of cards.
In 2018, I think a good goal would be to find and use technology tools to help us get through the workday performing at a high level of accuracy and less work.
Some of these same technologies can also be used in at home in our personal lives. Wow!
Go for it in 2018!
